So this year I decided to treat myself to an exceptionally grand birthday cake. I turned 30 last year and due to Covid-19 and stringent lockdown measures in S.A at the time, I was unable to spend my birthday with friends and family and was confined to my home.
So this year, since the lockdown measures have eased up since then, I was able to celebrate this day with my significant other, whom I might add, went all out and planned a surprise birthday party for me with friends, even with knowing that I was baking my own birthday cake!
