What began as a hobby in baking, since my teenage years, has now become a quaint little business that is based on these many years of passion and a need to express my creativity.
As a teenager I started of baking very simple bakes such as cakes with simple icings, muffins and biscuits and it wasn’t until I had baked a cake for granny, which had piping and even writing on it, that I then realized the talent that I had. Little did I know that that cake would ignite a passion that would turn into a business one day and I would get to share this passion with others.
I am an engineer by profession, and as an engineer, attention to detail, total quality management, constant learning, creativity and innovation, are some of the most important qualities of an engineer, and these qualities are exactly what is also needed as a baker.
